Okanagan is absolutely great ! I was there in 2007 for holiday season. We lived in Peachland and visited the Rockies (Banff/Jasper and so on). But also the Okanagan between Osoyus and Kelowna was it worth for lots of day hikes. I think, the Okanagan is the warmest part of Canada during summer season ! Be aware of Rattlesnakes during season ! We saw more Rattlesnakes than Black Bears there ! Many Bears appeared to us in Waterton National Parc. Have a good time and enjoy ! I wish I could fly tomorrow !
