Hello stampmix,

I need help identifying the Italian transit cancel on the back of this letter. It was a very interesting route to Italy.



The letter was posted in Zürich18 October 1864. It was carried on the Zürich-Chur train [Z55] to Chur [18 X 62, not in this scan].

The letter then has a date stamp D???nzano a Milano [lower left], transit Milano 20 Ott, and arrived in Naples 22 Ott.



I have not found an ambulant cancel with the correct number of letters to match this unknown cancel that makes sense considering the route.

The letter either went over the Splugen Pass to Como [I have another letter from July 1864 that transited Como.] Or it went over the Bernardino Pass via Bellinzona, then to Como and on to Milan.

Any help about his route would be appreciated.
