Proud-Bailey Bücher (Proud ist vor einigen Monaten verstorben) sind sicher interessant, ich habe auch einige von den von mir gepflegten Gebieten in meine Bibliothek. Manche Angaben sind aber mit Vorsicht zu genießen..., insbesondere was Portotabellen angeht. Da hat man nur in den wenigsten Fällen sich die Mühe gemacht die Offiziellen Tabellen abzutippen und aufzuarbeiten sondern einfach die offizielle Ankündigungen einzufügen. Leider auch nur in den wenigsten Fällen sind alle Ankündigungen komplett drin.

Was auch empfehlenswert ist ist die Serie „Billig’s Philatelic Handbooks. Da habe ich 44 Bände in meiner Bibliothek, kann aber nicht sagen ob die komplett ist. Vor vielen Jahren habe ich da mal ein Inhaltsverzeichnis erstellt:
