Ungarn Mi-Nr. 3901 A

Hallo zusammen,

vor einiger Zeit hatte ich eine mögliche Farbabart (obere Marke) der Mi.-Nr. 3901A aus Ungarn vorgestellt, siehe Foto!



Gut Ding will Weile haben, aber nun bekam ich auf Umwegen eine hoffentlich vor allem für Ungarn-Sammler interessante Rückmeldung des Philatelie-Experten Ungarns, Herrn Istvan Glatz:

According to Catalogue of the Hungarian Stamps 2020 edition the stamps of „Kastélyok” series are very interesting.

Among them can be found different paper-, gluing- and colour (!!!) versions.

Enclosed please find copies of the catalogue pages (table.1 - 256 page and table.2 – 461 page).

The table.2 is a statement on the research results of Hungarian stamp collectors.

Its sentence underlined in red states: “…... there are also differences in colors, the exact cataloging of which is the task of the future.”

So the final determination of the colour of the stamps is an open question.

To that extent, I was able to help answer your question.
